Priyanshi Sharma – a student of New Horizon Gurukul, studying in Grade X-D – represented India in the recently concluded 15th Korea Open International Karate-do Championships & 2nd WCKF World Karate-do Championships, held in Busan (South Korea).

Playing in the 14-15 years and 16-18 years’ categories, she won One Gold Medal and Two Silver Medals in

Individual Kata, Team Kata and Individual Kumite Events, respectively.

Priyanshi has been learning Shito-Ryu form of Karate at the Ken Ei Mabuni Shito- Ryu Karate School of India – under the guidance of Renshi R. Ganesh and Sensei E N Ramya – since she was 4 years old.
