RESOURCE CENTRE

It goes without saying that every child is unique, and so are their needs. In response, New Horizon Gurukul has established a well-equipped resource center staffed with special educators and counselors who address students’ special needs and provide the necessary guidance.

Counseling

The primary goal of child and adolescent counseling in schools is to reduce any impediments to a child’s academic performance. Our counselors are well-trained, qualified professionals with postgraduate degrees in Clinical Psychology and Counseling, specializing in child and adolescent care. Whether it’s reducing anxiety, improving study skills, developing healthy friendships, addressing problems at home, setting goals, or dealing with bullying, counseling offers a safe and confidential environment where children can share their most personal feelings without fear.

Special Education

Special education, an integral part of any educational institution, enhances the system’s capacity to serve the educational needs of all children. Its primary function is to identify children with learning difficulties or special needs and to support them effectively in overcoming these challenges.

Our counselors are well-trained, qualified professionals with postgraduate degrees in the management of children with learning disabilities. Both regular and special school programs play a pivotal role in meeting the educational needs of students.

Counselors and special educators regularly conduct workshops for faculty members on the sensitive and effective handling of students with special needs.
