Event: Annual Trip to Hampi for Grade 8
Event Details:
Stepping back in time to the era of kings and temples, the students of Grade 8 set out on a three-day, two-nights trip to Hampi – a land where every stone tells a story. Their visit to the Archaeological Museum offered insights into how archaeologists reconstruct the past and the importance of heritage preservation. At ‘Anegundi Craft Village’, students explored banana fiber weaving, pottery, and stone carving, gaining appreciation for traditional art. The students were also captivated by the local artists’ visual depiction of scenes from the Ramayana.
