New Horizon Gurukul proudly celebrated its Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 on 19 June 2026, marking the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council. The event reaffirmed the school’s commitment to its motto, “Sarveshaam Poornam Bhavathu” – May everyone become complete in all respects.

The ceremony commenced with the welcoming of distinguished dignitaries, including Vice Chairperson Ms Sargam Manghnani, President Mr Surya Bajaj (in absentia), Mr Jayashankaran, Dean – Accounts, and Principal Mr Ravishankar Putti. The opening address highlighted that true leadership is founded on empathy, courage, responsibility, and service.

A distinctive highlight of this year’s council was its democratic and transparent election process. Students actively engaged through campaigns, speeches, and vision presentations, while teachers and peers collectively selected leaders who best reflected the values and aspirations of the school community.

The newly elected Student Council, comprising School Captains, Vice Captains, Sports Captains, Cultural Secretaries, Editors, Green Ambassadors, House Leaders, and Deputy House Leaders, was formally introduced and honoured during the badge-conferring ceremony conducted by the school management and teacher in-charges. Junior House Leaders and Class Leaders were also recognised, reinforcing the belief that leadership opportunities exist at every level.

The ceremony concluded with the Oath-Taking Ceremony led by School Captain (Girls), Deepthi S, followed by an inspiring address by School Captain (Boys), Aarush Ahuja. The event served as a powerful reminder that leadership is not merely about authority, but about service, integrity, and inspiring positive change within the community.
