On 9th December 2025, New Horizon Gurukul inaugurated its state-of-the-art Pickleball Court, adding a new dimension to the school’s sports infrastructure. The ceremony was graced by Principal, Mr. Ravishankar Putti, and Director of Accounts, Mr. Jaishankar, with enthusiastic student representatives leading the inauguration symbolising Gurukul’s belief that learners are at the heart of every initiative. The event began with a traditional pooja, invoking blessings for harmony, well-being, and success. This sacred start reflected Gurukul’s ethos of grounding every new step in values and tradition.

Pickleball, one of the fastest-growing sports globally, is valued for its simplicity, inclusivity, and ability to foster fitness, agility, and teamwork. Its addition reflects Gurukul’s mission to promote holistic wellbeing while embracing contemporary trends. True to its ethos, Gurukul continues to walk hand in hand with tradition and modernity upholding discipline, respect, and cultural rootedness while introducing global practices that prepare students for the future.

The event concluded with a spirited demonstration match between the principal and students, symbolising camaraderie, healthy competition, and the joy of shared learning.
