On 21st July 2025, students of Grades IX and X observed Samvidhan Hatya Diwas to commemorate the declaration of Emergency in India (25th June 1975 – 21st March 1977), considered one of the darkest periods of Indian democracy. The event began with a thought-provoking video highlighting the consequences of unchecked power such as the suspension of fundamental rights, suppression of dissent, and misuse of constitutional authority.

Arya and Arshiya from Grade X reflected on how democracy was eventually restored through public will and elections. Emphasis was laid on the importance of never taking democratic rights for granted, staying aware of constitutional safeguards, and educating future generations.

The event concluded with students taking a solemn pledge to uphold the Constitution, defend justice, and protect civil liberties. The observance served as a powerful reminder of the fragility of democracy and the duty of every citizen to preserve it.
