The World Environment day was celebrated on June 5, 2023 at New Horizon Gurukul with the aim of creating awareness of plastic pollution and its negative effects on the environment. A beautiful array of eco-friendly things vs plastic objects was displayed in the school lobby based on the subject ‘Beat the plastic pollution’.

Primary and secondary students delivered motivational speeches that focused on the theme of 2023, the significance of the world environment day, and our individual contributions to maintaining a clean and green environment.
The national winners of SPOT (Science Promotion and Orientation Test), the school toppers of grades 10 and 12 and the green Olympiad winner were felicitated.

A beautiful dance was performed by junior secondary students to take the oath of reducing usage of plastic.
