New Horizon Gurukul (NHG) organized Deepawali carnival for Grades 1 to 5 students on 5th November, 2023. A total of 2000+ students along with parents (Grade 1 & 2) were part of the Deepotsav. The event began with a lighting of lamps by dignitaries along with students, followed by cultural programs. The carnival offered all age groups a great opportunity to have fun, frolic, a reason to smile, relax, and unwind. The gurukulites along with their family members came in multitudes to be a part of this fun and food extravaganza. There were a large number of stalls, offering savory food items of tasty delicacies and varieties of games were set up. They were all enthusiastic, energetic, overjoyed, and on cloud nine to be a part of this event specially organized for children along with their parents. They received lots of surprises throughout the event, such as being named the best-dressed family. The most awaited firecracker show was enjoyed by all at the end of this event. All in all, the occasion was a huge success and one to remember.
