The 75th year of freedom of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 15th August, 2022 at New Horizon Gurukul. On this special occasion, the programme started with flag hoisting by the Chief Guest, Rtd. Colonel Arvind Saksena and his wife Mrs. Neelam Saksena. The Quadrangle echoed with the sense of patriotism and oneness with the singing of the National Song by all.

The chief guest then addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. A blend of vibrance, music and culture showcasing the Unity in Diversity of our nation through a dance performance by the students. Primary school students then presented a speech and a poem in Hindi and Sanskrit highlighting the richness of India emphasizing on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. A beautiful medley of songs which ignited the patriotic feeling within all was then presented which was followed by a tribute to the freedom fighters in the form of a Dance Drama. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
