New Horizon Gurukul greeted the parents on September 11^th 2021, for the event ‘New Horizon with a Twist’. The event was conducted with an idea of concoction of experiences for the parents, which was full of contentment, elation and revitalization of fond memories of their school days.

Parents were divided into two batches of class XII. Each batch of parents had their own class teacher. The time-table for the day was shared with all the parents by the class teachers. The day started with a school prayer and breakfast snacks in the class rooms.

Using a set of goals, the school developed specific objectives for “Understanding the complexity and ambiguity of empirical work” for desired outcomes of laboratory experiences.

Parents were given the opportunity to observe how children learn Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in labs.

The parents’ enthusiasm and lively participation in lab experiments was par excellence. It was also refreshing to watch them during the Values Plus, P.E. and Zumba period. A lunch was organized by the school in the canteen. A variety of cuisines were served adhering to the Covid prevention protocol.

Post another session of classes, parents shared their valuable feedback about the program. The day was concluded with a vote of thanks in the school ground followed by the gifts’ distribution. The event was a success as the parents enjoyed the day to the fullest.
