Youth Parliament Session 2025
Event Details:
On Constitution Day, the Social Science Department addressed a question by organising a dynamic Youth Parliament Session. Forty eager students from Grades 6–8, selected through an online registration process, participated in this immersive experience. To prepare for their roles, the students showed incredible dedication, attending five comprehensive orientation sessions (both online and offline) throughout November to master parliamentary procedures and rules.
On the day of the event, the auditorium was transformed into an authentic parliamentary setting. Divided into two groups, the students debated two distinct motions. With the confidence of seasoned leaders, they utilised the podiums and formal seating arrangement to deliver arguments characterised by deep research and democratic spirit. It was an inspiring display of civic engagement and public speaking.
