New Horizon Gurukul hosted its state level inter school tournament, “NEW HORIZON CUP 2023–24”, from 28th August 2023 to 1st September 2023, bringing together students and staff in a celebration of athleticism and sportsmanship. The event commenced on 28th of August, 2023, at 8:15 AM at New Horizon Gurukul with around 500+ students participating across from 50+ schools. The event featured a wide range of team sports, like badminton, football, basketball, kabaddi, carom, yoga, chess, table tennis etc held at New Horizon Gurukul, New Horizon Public School, New Horizon International School and New Horizon College of Engineering.

The event began with a vibrant opening ceremony where the guest of honour, Mr. D. Gnanaprakash, who represented the Asian Youth Junior India Championship held in Sri Lanka in 2000, motivated all the children. The athletes across the various schools in Bengaluru entered into the spirit of occasion in a grand way. It went on for five days with great pomp and show and successfully ended with a great spirit.
