Well Being Out of Waste
Inculcating the value of individual responsibility and love for nature has always been a top priority in all our curricular activities. Under the green campus initiative, a school exchange recycling programme was organized in association with ITC Ltd WOW (Wellbeing Out of Waste) initiative for students across all grades on 26th and 27th June ’23 which was aimed at creating awareness among students about waste segregation at source and their efficient recycling process. A total of 12 tonnes of dry waste was recycled by students. NHG created a record for recycling such a huge amount ever by any school in last decade in recycling programmes organized by ITC ltd. Students were awarded certificates for their contribution and Master Ayansg Tripathi of grade VII D was awarded as the Recycling Champion for recycling 76.5 kg of dry waste. All participants were given new notebooks and stationery in exchange along with joy that comes along!! This event helped us to empower our children to understand and embrace their role as agents of change for a better world.
