Report on Felicitation Ceremony held on July 8th 2021

New Horizon Gurukul always takes pride to acknowledge the achievements of the students in scholastic and co-scholastic spheres. Like every year, the toppers of CBSE board exam 2020 were presented with cash prize. Due to restrictions in the current situation, the felicitation of the toppers could be held only in July 2021.

On 8th July 2021, the toppers of CBSE class X 2020 were invited to the school along with their parents to attend the felicitation ceremony. The ceremony was held in the school theatre, maintaining the pandemic related rules and regulations. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Director of New Horizon Gurukul, Ms. Sargam Manghnani and the Principal, Ms. Sandhya Singh.

The function began with a small prayer and lighting of the lamp. The overall topper Miss Prakriti Tripathi was awarded ₹10,000 and ₹5000 each for being the topper in two subjects. The cash prize was given in the form of a cheque in the name of the student. The toppers in various subjects were also felicitated with ₹5000 per
subject.

This was also the occasion to felicitate the best outgoing student of class X in the batch of 2020-21. Master Hari Shankar Karthik attended the function along with his parents to receive the prize and the citation in his name. He was awarded with a cheque worth ₹10000.

All the parents were called upon the stage with their ward and personally appreciated by Ms. Sargam. A sapling was also gifted as a token of positivity and goodness to each family. The function was concluded by a note of gratitude by the Senior Coordinator Ms. Chitralekha.
