Annual Trip to Delhi Vrindavan and Jaipur for Grade 9

65 students from Grade IX set out on a 6 days 5 nights trip from 13th Dec to 18th Dec 2023 to Delhi, Vrindavan, Jaipur. The tour aimed to provide students with an enthralling cultural, historical, and spiritual experience across Delhi and Rajasthan. It intended to blend education with spiritual exploration, offering a multifaceted understanding of India’s rich heritage, architecture, and religious significance.

On the first day of the trip the students visited India Gate, the War Memorial, and the captivating Akshardham Temple’s laser show and Vedic boat ride. A memorable dinner at ISKCON Delhi blended history, spirituality, and culinary delights.

On 14th Dec, the students got the opportunity to explore the Rashtrapati Bhawan. The spiritual essence of Prem Mandir left a profound impact. The visit to VCM ISKON reflected spiritual beauty, culminating in an enriching journey. The journey continued with soulful morning rituals, visits to Madan Mohan Temple, serene spots like Kaliya Ghat and Brahmand Ghat, and joyous moments in Raman Reti, concluding with a soul-enriching Mathura darshan on December 15th.

On Dec 16th , divine moments at VCM temple preceded a heartening visit to Surabhi Goshala. Students experienced the vibrant culture of Jaipur through a tuk-tuk auto ride circling Govardhan hill and a captivating darshan, followed by a delightful dinner..

Dec 17th unveiled the grandeur of Amer Fort and the marvels of Jantar Mantar, with an unexpected touch of beauty at the captivating Jalmahal. Exploring Jaipur’s lively streets, gathering souvenirs and the cultural immersion at Chokhi Dhani gave enriched experience, etching enduring memories. The final day commenced with a heartwarming visit to the Hingonia Goshala, engaging students in feeding and interacting with cows and calves. A nourishing lunch en route marked the return to Delhi, concluding the journey with bittersweet farewells and cherished memories.

This excursion provided a holistic experience, intertwining spiritual awakening, historical understanding, and cultural appreciation. Through visits to temples, historical sites, and immersive experiences, students not only deepened their knowledge but also fostered a sense of unity and respect for India’s diverse heritage. The journey undoubtedly left an indelible mark on everyone fostering a deeper understanding of India’s rich tapestry of spirituality and history.
