Event Details:

The Interact Club of NHG organized a blood donation camp. The event took place in the yoga room from 9 AM to 3 PM and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, parents, and other community members.

The student volunteers assisted the medical team in the registration process. Donors were required to fill out a form providing medical history details. They underwent a preliminary health check-up, which included measuring blood pressure, hemoglobin levels, and overall fitness to donate. The medical team from the BMS hospital ensured that all safety protocols were followed and only those eligible to donate proceeded to the donation area.

The process was smooth and well-organized, ensuring minimal wait time. After the donation, refreshments, including fruit juice and light snacks, were provided to help donors regain energy.

The camp saw a remarkable turnout, with over 140 participants and 101 successfully donated blood. The participants included students who met the age criteria as well as teachers, parents, and other local community members. Many first-time donors expressed a sense of accomplishment in being able to contribute to such a noble cause. The members of the Interact Club played a crucial role in the smooth functioning of the event. The event was a testament to the school’s commitment to social causes and provided a valuable learning experience for everyone involved.
