The educational excursion to Pondicherry commenced on November 1, 2023. 52 students from grade XII went for the three-day field trip. The group arrived at Ocean Spray Resorts by midday. On the same day, they visited the Aurobindo Ashram, the Promenade Beach and the Freedom Memorial.

The second day of the trip was dedicated to exploring the serene and harmonious experimental township of Auroville. The students experienced a sense of peace and tranquility in this environment. The afternoon was spent engaging in pool games at the resort and a visit to Rock Beach. In the night, they gathered around the bonfire, enjoying music and dance.

On the third day, the students visited Paradise Beach, where they savored the tranquil surroundings. They then moved on to Mahabalipuram, where they explored historic sites such as the Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas, Krishna’s Butter Ball, and Arjuna’s Penance. The students also indulged in street shopping before concluding the trip with dinner and a safe journey back to Bangalore.

The three-day educational field trip to Pondicherry and Mahabalipuram was an enriching experience for the students, as they had the opportunity to explore various historical and cultural landmarks.
