Primary Division

Laboratory forms the crux of science teaching and constructive

Well-equipped modern laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and
Biology at Gurukul provide new avenues of learning and
promotes scientific temper.
Science Laboratories 
New Horizon Gurukul has three computer labs and 130 computers which are accessible to students. It has advanced nfrastructure in terms of hardware and upgraded software to cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum.
Computer Labs 
A Math lab has been set up, to enrich the teaching of Mathematics at the school level. The "learning by doing"
approach is practiced here to the fullest and students are made to work on projects and activities, to highlight the
relevance of mathematics.

The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is a flagship initiative set up by the NITI Aayog to promote innovation and entrepreneurship across the length and breadth of the country. In connection with this, Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is setup in New Horizon Gurukul. ATL promotes creative, innovative mind set in students.

A library is the heart and soul of every institution. Gurukul has a spacious, well-furnished and well stacked library
managed by qualified librarians. There are separate dedicated corner for Primary & Secondary students. A variety of books are available for all age groups.

Integrating technology into the classroom is a great way to diversify learning styles for classes. Classrooms are characterised by highly interactive sessions. SMART classrooms are equipped with Intelligent Interactive Panels (IIPs) that enhance the learning experience for students.

Gurukul has two spacious yoga rooms where the children meditate under the supervision of qualified teachers.
We celebrate the International Yoga Day to take pride in the ancient science that preaches the secret of longevity
and well being.
Yoga Room 
Gurukul provides for an unlimited access to music and all the benefits that entail through its learning. By
promoting traditional music education, our aim is to foster an appreciation for music, build self-esteem, teach
critical social skills and engender creativity and innovation.

The dance rooms at Gurukul have a state of the art facility where the students are taught various dance forms. Trained Instructors act as facilitators to Gurukulites to learn and gain knowledge of dance.

An air conditioned auditorium with a capacity to seat 1000 people with state of the art acoustics and facilities is
available for students round the clock. The students are encouraged to give presentations and talks on the
stage to make them comfortable and confident in public speaking and improve their communication skills.

The school has two basketball courts and a football court of International dimensions and synthetic turf. Our
Coaches are specialized to undertake coaching and our students have been excelling in the sport by winning
accolades, not only in the city but even at the State level.
