Sansthapan Diwas

New Horizon Gurukul celebrated the momentous Sansthapan Diwas on the 7th of June, 2023. This day marked thirteen years of Gurukul’s brilliance since its establishment in 2010. Shriman Madhu Pandit Dasa, then president of ISKCON, Bengaluru was the one to light the lamp for Gurukul to begin its journey to where it is today.
The event was held in the auditorium at 8:30 am.The event began with an interactive conversation between two gurukulites on the significance of the day and Gurukul’s history. This was followed by the recitation of the Vision, the Mission and the Motto of the institution, combined with the core beliefs and key objectives of all gurukulites at heart. Mr. Anand Kumar, an experienced teacher, then stepped onto the stage to enlighten the crowd with a passionate speech on account of the occasion.
The event came to a successful end with a colorful presentationof Gurukul’s earliest memories and notable photographs of the day of the inauguration, topped with messages of determination, hard work and commitment.
The crowd then lost themselves in the melody of the school song. As “Hooray, Hooray to New Horizon…” played on the speakers, andas the auditorium rang with confident voices, it was crystal clear that Gurukul houses the most spectacular students and faculty, ones capable of carrying its legacy through generations and beyond.
