The Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebration at New Horizon Gurukul on September 6th was a delightful and devotional event. The school’s entrance lobby was adorned with exquisite decorations by the dedicated art team and volunteer teachers, setting the perfect ambiance.

The festivities began in the auditorium with an enlightening speech highlighting the significance of Janmashtami. It was followed by arati ceremony to Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra, accompanied by soulful kirtans that filled the room with divine melodies. A group of students then recited the Brahma Samhita prayers, adding a spiritual dimension to the event. The evening continued with an enchanting dance drama, showcasing the talents of the children trained by our exceptional dance teachers.

A beautiful altar dedicated to Lord Krishna and Laddu Gopal at the green lobby graced the surroundings. The green lobby hosted a maha sankalpa ceremony for the dignitaries and teachers. A group of enthusiastic children melodiously chanted the Sri Krishna Ashtottara. Students from all classes had the privilege of seeking darshan of Lord Krishna in this serene setting.

The celebration reached its sweet conclusion as prasadam was distributed throughout the school, filling everyone’s hearts and taste buds with joy. The day culminated with a special kirtan and chanting session, uniting all the staff of New Horizon Gurukul in a devotional embrace.
