Providing a simulating learning environment to face real life challenges is always at focus at New Horizon Gurukul. Learning about democracy and its functioning is an indispensible part of learning. Our annual students’ election fortifies and gives experience various facets of democracy to every student. Following a high voltage week long election campaign by the candidates, New Horizon Gurukul, conducted the election of the Student Council for the session 2022-23 on Friday, 10th June 2022. There were 55 candidates nominated for 24 posts in the council. The franchise was limited to the students from grade 6 to 12. 1531 students casted their vote to elect the best candidate.The runners up of the school vice-captain post were appointed as the Green Ambassadors. The new council will take charge on 24th June, at the most awaited Investiture Ceremony.
