TESTS AND EXAMINATIONS
Classes I and II
- New Horizon Gurukul uses the Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation technique to assess the students.
- 10 monthly tests are conducted.
Classes III to VIII
Comprehensive Evaluation consisting of periodic tests, one half yearly examination and one Annual examination during the academic year.
Classes IX
Comprehensive Evaluation consisting of three periodic tests, one half yearly examination and one Annual examination during the academic year.
Classes X to XII
Comprehensive Evaluation consisting of three periodic tests, 2 model exams and the Board exams.
Co- Scholastic Assessment
- Co- scholastic aspects include Life skills, Co-curricular activities, attitudes and values.
- Assessment in co-scholastic areas is done using multiple techniques on the basis of identified criteria, assessment indicators and checklists.
