Objectives: |
This trip aims to provide students of Grade 2 to develop compassion and love towards animals while helping them overcome their fears through direct, positive interactions. Students will have the chance to meet, pet, and feed various animals while learning about their care and habitats.

Event Details:- The recent educational excursion, a joint endeavor between Heritage Tours and NIVE, exceeded expectations for the 227 students of Grade 2 from New Horizon Gurukul. The well-planned schedule ensured a harmonious blend of education and enjoyment, forging unbreakable bonds and unforgettable memories.
Activities:- The day was packed with a variety of activities designed to enhance both individual and team skills. Children had a unique opportunity to interact with animals under expert guidance. The experience was both educational and enjoyable, allowing children to develop a deeper appreciation for the animal kingdom.
Highlights of the Experience:
Animal Interactions: Children had the chance to touch, hold, and pet various animals, fostering a sense of connection and responsibility.
- Animal Care: Children were assisted in cleaning and bathing select animals, gaining insight into the importance of hygiene and animal welfare.
- Parent-Child Bonding: Children were very keen in observing how parents cared for their young ones which provided valuable lessons on nurturing and compassion.
- Bio-Gas Production: They also witnessed the process of making bio-gas and learned more about its practical applications, promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.
- Pet Care and Management: Experts shared valuable tips on caring for different pets, emphasizing the importance of proper nutrition, shelter, and health care.
Students were provided with breakfast, lunch, and snacks, ensuring they had ample energy for the day’s activities.
Conclusion:
A day filled with joy, learning, and hands-on activities. The animal encounter and learning experience was a resounding success, providing children with a unique opportunity to interact with animals and develop empathy and understating towards animals, learn about sustainable practices, and develop essential life skills. They also acquired the knowledge on proper pet care and management that encourage both fun and growth, ensuring that our children continue to thrive and develop in meaningful ways.
