As the world joined hands to observe World Environment Day to encourage action to protect our environment, NHG resonated with the same.Students (grade 1 to 12) joined the programme by taking pledge to include ECO-FRIENDLY activities at their respective homes or surroundings from June 5th with more awarness.Ongoing pandemic wave could not block gurukulites to display their love for mother earth.

Students across all grades actively participated in eco-friendly activities at their respective dwellings and school took the lead to showcase their love for nature on social media handles. Creativity has no limits, only a small positive intention is needed.

In addition to these activities myriad online activities to observe the occasion, primary children helped to create more awareness about Ecosystem Restoration with speeches, mime and poetry .Recordings of the same were played in all online classes which gathered lots of appreciation from parents and students alike.

World Environment Day celebrations came to close with students taking pledge to protect environment in true letter and spirit and make the world a better place to live.
